Thank goodness for Stephanie Michelle! Someway, somehow, she managed to capture warmth in her photos of us that took place on a freezing cold and VERY windy beach at 6:30 in the morning! Mother Nature had forced us to cancel the sunset shoot that was scheduled for the night prior due to a storm. So when Stephanie suggested a sunrise shoot for the following morning, we were 100% on board. Little did we know how crazy the weather would be! It was the kind of cold wind that makes your eyes water causing tears to stream down your face! Not ideal! hahaha
Despite the weather.. we had SO MUCH FUN! We were cold! But we had fun! Stephanie is amazing at her craft, and she kept our confidence up by showing us a couple sneak peaks from the back of her camera. We are thrilled with the photos, and we know that we will cherish them for a lifetime!
A couple of sneak peaks went up of the shoot, and I received a few inquires regarding the white dress that I wore. It is from Sew Trendy Accessories, and it’s listed as their Miriam Gown. There are so many different ways you can customize the gown to suit your wants and needs. I went with a size small, and even though my bump grew a lot between the time I received it in the mail and the time the shoot took place, it still fit correctly. The material is extremely soft and very flattering. The skirt portion can, however, look a bit see-through under certain lighting. My advice to anyone who is wearing it to an event would be to have it lined (which is an option that they provide), so that you don’t have to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions. Also, the standard train length of the dress is very long, so you may need to have it altered depending on what you are wearing it for. I went with the standard length, and as you can see, it is plenty long.
Thanks again to Stephanie for working with us and capturing this pregnancy!
