When I was younger, I would go to the fabric store with my mom. She would shop, and I would sit in the back at a table and look at all of the pattern catalogs. It never failed that there would be a thousand patterns for mother-daughter outfits. I distinctly remember thinking.. Thank God my mom doesn’t make these outfits for us…
Flash forward 15 years AND I CANT GET ENOUGH OF MATCHING OUTFITS! Being a mother does weird things to ya! I get so excited when I can coordinate with Audrey, so naturally matching Christmas Pajamas were a must. Now Derek, he could care less. Although I do think deep down inside, he enjoyed it.
Anyway. Matching Christmas Pjs are something that we (meaning I) want to start as a tradition. I want to take family photos in them, and I want to wear them Christmas Eve/Day.
The ones I chose are Fair Isle Cotton Pajamas from Burt’s Bees. They have plenty of patterns to choose from, but I loved these ones because they are Christmas-y without being too Christmas themed. Basically, I wanted pajamas that we could wear all winter long! As far as matching family pajamas go, these were just perfect for us. (I ordered them online from Target!)
Below are our family photos that we took ourselves using a timer set for 10 seconds and 10 pictures per shot. (Here is the camera that I use Canon PowerShot ELPH 330 12.1MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom with 3-Inch LCD (Black) ) I tried using the flash at first, but those weren’t turning out as well. Instead, we opened the blinds and used good ol’ natural light. Too easy!
Happy Holidays, everyone!
