This Fall We Are Falling For Janie and Jack

Although the current weather in Maryland may not reflect it, fall is quickly approaching. We will find ourselves bundled up in cozy sweaters sipping pumpkin spice lattes before we know it! That means it is time to refresh the family’s wardrobes in preparation for that crisp fall air.

When I was contacted by Janie and Jack, one of the most classic and modern childrens’ clothing brands, I jumped at the opportunity to choose an outfit for Audrey from their Fall 2017 collection. Their head to toe pieces are timeless, and they mix and match with ease.

The importance of having high quality pieces that layer easily is crucial for a busy 1 year old. They play hard and warm up fast! Not to mention, Maryland weather is all over the place. It’s cool one moment and hot the next! I kept this in mind when looking through Janie and Jack’s Carriage House Collection online. (They also have stores nationwide! Find the one nearest you here.)

I started with the Ruffle Collar Top in baby blue. This top is 100% cotton,  lightweight and breathable. It’s a piece that is extremely versatile and will go with any bottom. I would suggest sizing up, as there isn’t any stretch to the fabric.

For pants I chose the Button Cuff Ponte Pant in navy. Navy is the most classic color for boys or girls. Janie and Jack’s attention to detail on these pants is impeccable. There is a seam that runs down the front of the pant and three delicate gold buttons adorning the cuff. They run true to size, and have a stretch to them. Do they come in my size?!

As a layering piece, I chose the Sweater Cape in Ivory. I just fell in love with this piece and that perfectly placed gold and brown faux-leather clasp. It can be dressed up or down, and is wonderful to have on those cooler days. I also want to add that is slips on over shirts with ease. There is absolutely no struggle getting this on my squirmy 1 year old, and us mommas know how important that is!

Now it’s time to accessorize. How could I possibly pass up the Wide Brimmed Fedora and these Ankle Boots?! Again, Janie and Jack go the extra mile with the attention to detail and quality of their pieces. You don’t often see such intricate embellishments on children’s clothing or accessories.

When this clothing arrived, it was truly a “happy mail” moment! I’m thrilled to have such amazing staple pieces in Audrey’s wardrobe for this Fall! What is your favorite piece?! Does anyone else wish they came in adult sizes?! ❤

A big thank you to Janie and Jack for such beautiful pieces! I was not paid to collaborate with them, but I was able to pick out a head to toe outfit free of charge. I love collaborating with such wonderful companies that I truly trust and HIGHLY recommend to my readers! Thank you so much for you support!
